E-Liquid & Vape Juice FAQ

E-Liquid otherwise known as Vape Juice or Vape liquid is the fluid that you fill your e cigarette or your vape with. This liquid is specially made as an alternative to traditional tobacco. Vape juice can be used to fill any type of device that is refillable, from your traditional Vape pens, e-cigarette tanks or pod kits.

Eliquid or vape juice is available in many different flavours, from traditional tobacco flavours to mint and menthol flavours and also a wide range of fruit flavours. As for what flavour is the best - this is entirely personal preference. We would recommend trying a few different flavours to get an idea of what you like best.

Vape juice or e-liquid is formulated with both natural and artificial flavourings, Vegetable Glycerine (VG) and Propylene Glycol (PG) are another main ingredient with a varying amount of nicotine depending on the strength of liquid you require. This can be from zero to 20mg.

Freebase nicotine is the traditional version of nicotine in vape juice and e-liquids. Freebase nicotine gives the user more of a throat hit which replicates the sensation of smoking. These liquids come in 10ml bottles and are generally in the strengths of 3mg / 6mg / 12mg and 18mg.

Nicotine Salts or Nic Salt e-liquids were developed for vapers who wanted a smoother throat hit. Nic salts have a faster absorption compared to freebase nicotine, the smoother throat hit allows the user to vape a higher nicotine content while retaining the smooth flavour.

Bar salts are a type of Nic salt e-liquid or vape juice. The difference with Bar Salts is that the flavours are made to replicate disposable vapes or Puff Bars. This means you can usually expect a smooth throat hit with a strong and intense flavour and improved coil longevity.

Shortfills are a type of vape juice or e-liquid which come in larger bottles, typically 60ml or 100ml. They contain zero Nicotine but are not filled to capacity, allowing you to add Nic shots. For example, adding x2 18mg nic shots to a 100ml bottle creates 120ml of 3mg vape juice.

Nic Shots are 10ml bottles of flavourless e-liquid containing VG and PG. They are used to add nicotine to shortfill bottles, though they can be vaped on their own if you prefer no flavouring. They come in various strengths and salt nic varieties.

Bar juice is a type of shortfill (typically 100ml) with a 50/50 VG/PG ratio. Like bar salts, the flavours are strong and intense like disposables. You can add Nic shots to these; adding x2 20mg salt shots typically results in roughly 3mg nicotine strength.
