Aspire Tanks FAQ’s

Can you use an Aspire tank with any mod?

Tanks and Mods are very interchangeable now as long as they have the 510 connection. The only time you will have a problem is when you get a mod with a set wattage, you don't want to get a tank that requires a lot of wattage and a mod that won't provide it, or support it, this can also lead to bad battery life.

What’s the difference between a Sub-0hm tank and a regular?

A regular vape tank uses a coil with a resistance greater than 1 ohm whereas a sub-ohm tank employs an atomizer with a resistance below 1 ohm

How often should I clean my Aspire tank?

It is recommended that you clean your tank before refilling with a new flavour to avoid any flavour contamination, we here at VapeTown recommend that you thoroughly clean your vape tank every 2 weeks or every 10 refills.

How do you clean your Aspire tank?

To clean your vape tank we recommend that you dismantle your tank and use warm water to clean the parts, when you are happy that the parts are clean dry them with some paper towel and leave to dry for around 1 hour or when completely dry then reassemble with a new coil fill with your e-liquid and leave the new coil to wick for 10-20min before use.

Can you use any liquids in Aspire tanks?

So as it turns out not all tanks can use every e-liquid as some liquid is thicker than others, if your Aspire tank has a MTL (Mouth To Lung) option such as the Aspire K3 tank that provides a MTL coil option you will be able to use thinner liquid eg-50/50 PG/VG and normally your sub-ohm Aspire Tank will want to use a thicker 70/30-VG/PG e liquid. In Most cases any coil that runs over 20w will want the use of a 70/30 e liquid.

Is your Aspire product genuine?

On the box of every Aspire product, you should see a holographic sticker along with a section labelled “Scratch and Check.” Scratch that section with a coin to reveal the authenticity code. Visit the Aspire website and scroll down to the authenticity checkers near the bottom of the page.

What’s the difference between a mesh coil and strip coil?

A mesh coil is a grid-like metal sheet – usually built from kanthal, stainless steel, or nichrome. Its design is meant to increase the surface area for e-liquid contact for maximum flavor and vapor production. The strip coils is similar but will have more contact with the surface area off the cotton and are designed to produce more vapour and flavour usually at a higher wattage.
