Kendo Nichrome Wire Ni80 (50ft)

Gauges: 38 GA

Price:
£5

The Mesh Company's Nichrome 80 Resistance wire is amazingly good for rebuilding your atomizer.

It is ideal for sun ohm coil builds. Ni80 (Ni80Cr20) has a lower resistance per length compared to Kanthal (FeCrAl). Consequently it will heat up much faster. It is therefore a perferred alternatively to kanthal for many "cloud chasers". This wire is also commonly used for Hot Cutting. Melting point oC - 1350 Max continous operating temperature in the air oC - 1200.

Nickel Chrome 80/20 (Ni80) is commonly used as a heat treatment wire.

In modern times it has found popularity n the vaping industry due to its high heat and electrical resistance.

80/20 nickel chronium alloy is often used for wrought and cast parts for high temperature applications, as it has better oxidation and hot corrosion resistance compared to cheaper iron-nickel-chromium alloys. This nickel chromium alloy is highly suited to applications that are subject to oxidation.
